On a Fuse box change, the Electrician will need to upgrade your earth bonding from 6 mm to 10 mm. The term ‘earth bonding’ refers to the use of a thick green and yellow copper cable that connects incoming supplies such as your gas and water pipes to the new Fuse Box or Consumer unit.

The connection is made on the metal pipes and clamped within two feet of where it enters the building. On average, the job itself takes around two to four hours to complete, but we will only charge a fixed price of £75.00.
