Your-electrician.co.uk is trading as Clickandinstall.com by using this website, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t accept the terms, don’t ask us to find you a Part P Electrician. We encourage you to print these terms and conditions periodically and keep a copy. You should do the same for any terms and conditions given to you by your Part P Electrician.

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our website https://clickandinstall.com (“our site”), whether as a guest or registered electrician. Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use our site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site.


Information about us

https://clickandinstall.com/ is a site operated by Clifton Bartley ("We" or “us”).  Our main address is Your Electrician Installation, Unit 693, 109 Vernon House, Friar Lane, Nottingham NG1 6DQ. We are a sole trader.To contact us, please email info@clickandinstall.com 


Accessing our site

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms of use and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.

We will determine, at our sole discretion, whether there has been a breach of these terms of website use through your use of our site. When a breach of these terms has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate which, where relevant, may include the temporary or permanent revocation of your registration (where applicable).


Online Booking Process

You complete the online fixed price booking form description on the website.

  • When you click “CHECK OUT” you consent to us sharing your personal information with the local Electrician in your area to service your request. In the first instance, this is limited to an SMS text to the Electrician of your postcode only.  
  • Will they find a local Electrician to do the work for you.
  • If the Electrician accepts the job, we’ll match you and at this point, we’ll pass on your name, address, and contact number, so that the Electrician can contact you to discuss the job in more detail.
  • Electrician reserve the right to offer alternative dates and time slots if he or she is unable to comply with the original requirements of your Job.
  • On the said day the Electrician will then carry out the work.

Cancellation and charges

  • You can re-arrange your appointment at any point before the 24 (Twenty-four) hours period before the appointment is due to start without any charges.
  • You can cancel your booking without charge at any time up to 24 (Twenty-four) hours before the appointment is due to start. If the appointment is cancelled after that or if the Part P Electrician cannot gain access to your premises, you will incur £30 or a 15% charge of the estimated price.
  • To re-arrange or cancel 24 (Twenty-four) hours before the appointment is due to start, contact the details provided in your confirmation email, or contact the customer services team on 0115 8320167.

Call-out fees

Please check that you are aware of and accept that there may be a call-out fee for the Job before you make a booking.

If the Electrician arrives at the premises and is unable to complete the job because different information was completed at the time of booking a job, then the Electrician may deem that a call-out fee of £20 may be applied to the customer.


Intellectual property rights

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it.  Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world.  All such rights are reserved.

You may print off copies and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your reference and your organisation’s reference only and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our site.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Our status (and that of any identified contributors or advertisers) as the authors of material on our site must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the materials on our site other than as authorised by these terms of use without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

On our site, we provide contact details of electricians who have registered with our site (“Electricians”). We have undertaken no investigations into the quality of goods and services provided by any Electricians nor have we investigated the Electricians themselves. The presence of an Electrician’s details on our website in no way constitutes an endorsement from us nor constitutes any relationship of agency between us and the Electrician.

We, therefore, disclaim all liability and responsibility whatsoever arising from any reliance placed on material posted on our site by any visitor to our site, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents. You acknowledge that when you book a Job on our website you will be entering into a direct contract with the Electrician.


Our site changes regularly

We aim to update our site regularly and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to our site, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on our site (including the contents of any advertisement placed on our site) may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.


Our liability

We introduce customers to Electricians to provide the services described on the website, and we are not responsible or liable for the end services that are provided. The material displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

  • All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
  • Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any person in connection with our site (including in relation to the goods and services referred to on it) or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our site, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it, including, without limitation any liability for:

For the avoidance of doubt, our site provides contact details for Electricians only. Any contract entered into for services (whether as detailed on our site or otherwise) is made between you and the relevant Electrician. We are not responsible whatsoever for the services provided by any Electrician contacted using details from our site and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage howsoever occurring which is suffered by you in relation to any work carried out or action taken by an Electrician.

Please note that we only provide our site for domestic and private use. You agree not to use our site for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.


Information about you and your visits to our site

We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy at www.your-electrician.co.uk/Privacy-policy.html By using our site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.


Electricians relationship between us:

Is solely that we are not your partners or joint ventures with your business we purely act as a facilitator of the service transaction between the customer and the Electrician by operating this Website. Electricians relationship with us is solely that you use our website, you do so subject to our terms.


Registration of electricians

Registration of Electricians on our site is at our sole discretion. All Electricians are required to be Part P registered. Our Commission fees for our services are as set out on our website here: http://www./Part-P/Commission.html

  • We will send you an invoice at the end of each month for our charges.
  • You agree to pay to us our commission fees from the total sums collected from your customers.
  • We reserve the right to terminate an Electrician’s registration on our site if the commission fee remains outstanding 7 days after demanded by us.
  • If customer has found you through www.your-electrician.co.uk, you will not carry out work for that customer unless you pay our commission fees.

All Electricians shall comply with the following requirements while they are registered on our site and have their contact details listed on our site:

  • Each Electrician shall carry out all services with reasonable care and skill.
  • Each Electrician shall charge the agreed fixed prices for the services as detailed on our site.
  • Each Electrician shall perform all installations of electrical items, including but not limited to electrical consumer unit replacement, Electric shower Installation, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and best practice guidance where available, and use professional judgment in completing installations. Electrical installation work shall be done in accordance to 18th IEE Regulations.
  • Each Electrician shall maintain their Part P registration at all times. If at any time an Electrician ceases to be registered on a Part P scheme, they should immediately inform us by email at info@clickandinstall.com .

Where we (at our sole discretion) consider it to be in the best interests of our site and its remaining Electricians, we may revoke the registration of any Electrician and remove their details from our site. Such circumstances may include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • an Electrician’s bankruptcy or insolvency;
  • an Electrician failing to comply with any provision in these terms of use;
  • an Electrician suffering reputational damage (where we consider that our own site’s reputation may be damaged by association with the Electrician); or
  • where we receive credible complaints about the quality of goods and services provided by an Electrician and we consider that our site’s reputation may be damaged by the continuing registration of the Electrician.

If we revoke the registration of an Electrician, we may at our sole discretion refund the Electrician’s membership fee calculated pro-rata according to the number of whole months remaining in the membership year.


Electricians indemnity to us

Each Electrician shall indemnify us against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and all other reasonable professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by us arising out of or in connection with:

  • any breach by that Electrician of these terms of use; and
  • any claim made against us by a third party arising out of or in connection with the provision of electrical goods and services to the third party by that Electrician.
  • your failure to comply with any law

Viruses, hacking and other offences

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform to access our site. You should use your virus protection software.

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer, or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

Jurisdiction and applicable law
